Our Story
Welcome to Muse and Glow! I'm Rachel, a certified Aroma Candle Artisan/Instructor accredited by the Korean Candle Craft Association (KCCA) and the founder of Muse and Glow, a candle studio based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Originally from Hong Kong, I've always been a determined and ambitious woman, dedicating the majority of my time to advancing my career in a multinational IT company. However, as my work hours extended, including weekends, and I poured all my energy into my job, I began to feel a sense of imbalance in my life. The stress from my demanding workload started affecting my health, leaving me overwhelmed and burnt out.
One day, at the recommendation of my best friend, I attended a four-hour workshop on scented candle making. The peaceful atmosphere and therapeutic experience captured me, sparking a newfound passion for candle crafting. The tranquillity I discovered in creating candles became a sanctuary for me.

Motivated by my growing interest, I took a significant step by enrolling in the Professional Scented Candle Master Course organized by the Korea Candle Craft Association. Through this program, I learned over 30 different candle-making techniques and refined my skills. It was a transformative experience that solidified my love for crafting beautiful and meaningful candles.
Since early 2022, I've been creating candles for friends and family, putting my heart and soul into each creation. Their positive feedback and encouragement inspired me to turn my hobby into a business. And that's how Muse and Glow was born.
At Muse and Glow, our mission is simple - to offer a safe and eco-friendly choice for candle enthusiasts. We are committed to using high-quality ingredients in crafting each candle, ensuring a delightful and immersive experience for our customers. We believe that candles possess the ability to set a mood, evoke emotions, and bring tranquility to any space.
